Nereis Bioengineering is an environmental consultancy based around the management of surface water generated on construction sites. Although specialising in the prevention of various types of pollution, the primary activities of Nereis Bioengineering concern prevention and treatment of silt-laden waters generated on-site.
Nereis Bioengineering is owned and run by Nick Stephens. With a background in science/research, Nick has been providing training, developing solutions and technical support to various construction and consultancy businesses for over 9 years.
Services Provided
- Site Assessment
- - A Risk-Assessment is created following a site visit with a list of deliverable actions
- Training
- - Training and upskilling your workforce in identification of risk and knowledge exchange concerning risk reduction and/ or mitigation
- Telemetry
- - Provision of remote telemetry equipment to identify and breach of conditions and demonstrate compliance
- Correlation Products
- - Primarily the provision of Total Suspended Solid against Turbidity correlations, which can be used to provide rapid site-specific evaluations of surface water compliance. Other correlation activities include pH and conductivity, which are used in combination with the telemetry system provided by Nereis Bioengineering.
